Join Catalyse as a Core Trainer

vacancy-738539_1920cropPlease note the deadline to apply for this vacancy has passed

As part of succession planning Catalyse (CAT North) invites applications to the role of Core Trainer for the delivery of the CAT North Practitioner Course. The post also offers a wider involvement with Catalyse and the opportunity to contribute to other training developments and CPD events. The candidate needs to be within easy commuting distance of Manchester and the North of England.

The CAT North core trainers work as an enthusiastic, collaborative group who value feedback and are open to new ideas and to change. The group has seven members who together run the CAT North Practitioner Course. Each takes a lead role in one area of course management and these include: The Course Coordinator, Academic, Recruitment, and Examinations Directors and Cohort year tutors. The team is supported by a Course Administrator and Finance Director.

The specific role taken by the new post holder will be negotiable but we would not expect a new member to take a lead role in their first year. We would however want you to establish yourself in the shared tasks central to delivering the course.

We are hoping to recruit someone who has good interpersonal skills, is collaborative and responsive, who works well in a group and who wants to contribute to CAT teaching in the North.

Further details are available in the downloads below.  Please submit the application form, a CV and a personal supportive statement of up to 750 words.  The statement should say why you are interested in this post and what you feel you can bring to the team

Please send your application to Frances Free, preferably by email, to frances@catalyse.uk.com

Closing date for applications: Friday 11th November 5pm
