Information for applicants seeking funding for Practitioner Training through NHS England
Thank you for your interest in the Catalyse CAT Practitioner Course for October 2026 entry.
The Catalyse CAT Practitioner course is an NHS England approved course. We can accept applications only from those NHS staff in the North West and Midlands NHE Regions who have approval from their Trust Lead/CPPO and/or NHSE Workforce, Training & Education regional lead that their place is supported and will be funded. Staff wishing to be considered for this funding route need to contact their Psychology Professional lead or manager who liaises with the NHSE regional lead.
Deadlines and interview dates
For non NHS England applicants: the application deadline of 30th May has now passed, and interviews will take place on Friday 26th June 2026 (online).
For those seeking NHS England funding: Applicants need to liaise with their service manager regarding applications via this route. Trust Lead/CPPO and/or NHSE Workforce, Training & Education regional leads inform applicants if their application is supported.
The same original deadline stood for NHSE approved applicants. However, If you are an NHSE approved applicant who was only informed of funding in late May, the deadline for your application has been extended until 15th June. Please contact us if you are in this position, to confirm your intention to apply.
NHSE funding outside the North West and Midlands
