I am an experienced BACP accredited counsellor and a CAT practitioner with a background in psychodynamic therapy. I have had 25 years’ experience working in a variety of mental health settings, including a national childcare charity, the NHS, Manchester Probation Service and lately in higher education. I also run an established private practice where I offer one to one counselling and psychotherapy, including personal reformulation and full CAT therapies, and supervision for individuals and groups. I have experience of working with people presenting with a broad range of difficulties, including relationship problems, eating disorders, anxiety and low mood, self-image and self-esteem. I am interested in promoting the use of CAT concepts and skills in a broad range of settings.
